Watford City boy track team has more qualifiers for State

We had an awesome day at the BPS Invite held at the Bismarck Bowl on Tuesday April 23. We finally had a good weather day at a track and field meet and the nice weather helped our athletes’ performances.
The highlight of the day came from the 400-meter race where Parker Schuster and Ethan Dennis both qualified. Ethan finished 7th with a time of 51.17.
Parker’s time of 49.90 set a new school record that was held by Tyler Bates in 2013 at 50.13. The competition is very good when a time like Parker’s is still 3rd place. First and second were 48.32 and 48.86. Parkers time currently ranks him 4th in Class A.
