Minot’s Glee Invitational
A windy day seems like this year’s track season motto, but it didn’t stop our athletes from competing well. Amelia Wisness had a Personal Record (PR) in her 300 hurdles just falling a few tenths of a second short from becoming a state qualifier at a time of 49.01. Kenzy Kuchenbuch also had a great day of throwing coming a couple feet short in Javelin of state qualifying with a Season Record (SR) throw of 102’7”. We had two relays that came within 2 seconds or less of qualifying, too. Our 4x200 and 4x400 Relays, consisting of Arlene Salas, Paige Schuster, Fallon Sampsel, Darbie Moberg, and Lauren Melland.
I am happy to see that we are getting closer to having more girls qualify for state, especially with the weather conditions we have been having.
